Here we will gather some hints and tips built up from the extensive combined experience of our members.

1. Put a carrier bag over your boots before putting on any waterproof trousers; not only does it really make your life much easier, but it keeps the inside of the trousers clean!
2. Polish a drop of washing up liquid into your specs and visors to avoid misting in cold weather - far more reliable than many of the more expensive so called products out there.
3. If you are cold stop at a newsagents and pickup a newspaper. Stuff this down your jacket and sleeves - you will be surprised at how much warmth this gives you! Remember: The more layers, the more heat!
